BOOKING

What is your price range for services?

Our services are fairly priced.

How do I book an appointment?

You can book your appointment online or by calling the salon.

How far in advance should I book my appointment?

You should book your appointment 1-2 weeks in advance to make sure that the time and date you want is available. You can schedule your appointment online 24 hours a day or call us during business hours. Make sure that you book every service that you’ll be needing. For example, you must book color services and shampoo and style services separately.

Do you only specialize in Ethnic hair?

Of course not! Royal Treats Beauty Lounge is a full service salon with expertise in all hair types and textures.

Do you provide off-site services?

Yes we do! Please call us or email royaltreatsbeautylounge@gmail.com with your off-site service request. We’ll then send you our contract and pricing list for off-site services.

Can I have my hair and makeup appointment booked in the same day?

Yes, our makeup artist is available by appointment only. Services include full face makeup application, strip eyelash extensions, one-on-one tutorial sessions, group classes, and bridal makeup. A deposit is required to reserve your appointment.

What type of payments do you accept?

We accept debit and credit cards (VISA, MasterCard, American Express, & Discover), cash, Apple Pay & Android Pay

Can I tip on a credit card?

Yes you can.

Do I need to provide a deposit to schedule an appointment for services? If so what services?

Yes, every appointment requires a deposit. Deposit prices vary due to the length of time it takes for that service. Your deposit can be paid via debit or credit card. Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferrable. For more information please read our Salon Terms & Conditions.

Do you have a cancellation policy?

Yes, all cancellations should be made in 48 hours for all extension and extended color services and 24 hours before the time of your scheduled appointment for all other services. This gives us the opportunity to offer that time to another guest who may want a service. Guests who do not cancel/do not show for their appointment will relinquish their deposit.

Please note our Late Policy… If you are 15 minutes late we may may need to reschedule your appointment. Please call ahead to allow our staff to make adjustments to the schedule. Thank you for your understanding!

How long will my hair appointment really take?

We’ve provided estimated styling times for each of our services. Some appointment times may vary.

EXTENSIONS

What kind of hair do you provide in the salon?

We carry 100% Virgin Indian, Brazilian and Cambodian extensions.

When I purchase hair from you, when should I set my appointment?

Please allow at least 7 days in between the date you purchase you hair and the date that you would like to come in for your appointment. This allows us to ensure that we have your extensions in stock.

How should I remove my extensions?

We recommend having your extensions taken out by a professional in our salon but if not, please have a friend or relative do it for you. You won’t be able to take your extensions out properly without cutting out some of your hair.

I want to wash my extensions at home…how do I do it?

We recommend that our clients come in every 2-3 weeks for maintenance. This is when we shampoo, condition, dry, re-tighten and style your extensions. If you want to wash your hair at home we recommend using a sulfate free shampoo and conditioner. Wash your hair by running your hands down the length of the hair, being careful not to scrub. Also invest in a hooded dryer to sit under in order for the braids underneath to dry. If your braids are not dry, this can cause a number of issues for you and your hair.

Can I have my extensions, or wig colored and installed on the same day?

We customize each color service so we suggest that you drop off your hair at least 7 days prior to your installation appointment. For example, a Permanent Color service and Custom Wig service may be booked on a Tuesday, where as your Wig Install and Style may be booked the following Tuesday. Due to the customization process for wigs, we ask that you give us 14 days max to have your wig completed and ready. MAINTENANCE

How do I maintain my hair at home?

To ensure that your hairstyle maintains its health and fabulousness in between visits, be sure to:

– Sleep using a silk or satin bonnet and/or pillowcase. Wrapping your hair nightly not only preserves the style, but it also keeps your hair moisturized.

– Avoid very hot or steamy baths and showers. If your hairstyle was achieved with any nature of thermal styling, excessive steam or humidity in the air can cause the style to revert.

I have a pretty active lifestyle and I want a hairstyle that I can manage on my own, in between salon visits. What should I do?

We absolutely recommend that you book a Consultation in our salon in order for your stylist to assess the state of your hair and lifestyle and administer the best style and regimen for your lifestyle.

Do you have any products, or styling tools that I can use at home?

Yep! From shampoos and conditioners to satin wraps, scarves and flat irons, we have it all, girls!

COLOR/CHEMICAL SERVICES

My hair is natural and I want to add some color to it…can I?

All natural textures vary in texture, porosity and density. Our educated stylists recommend that you schedule a consultation to determine the health of your hair and to offer the best services for you.

What should I know before having a relaxer, color or any chemical service done on my hair?

Color and chemical services react differently based on the state/overall health of your hair. A professional consultation is required before any chemical/color service is performed in our salon.
